Kenya Women & Children Wellness Centre (KWCWC) — Building and maintaining live production systems including E-Ticketing System (real-time ICT service desk with WebSocket communication, automated workflows, and SLA monitoring) and Internship Management System (complete internship lifecycle management from application to completion). Machakos University — Organizing tech events, workshops, and community-building activities for students interested in Google Developer Technologies. Bridging the gap between theory and practice through peer-to-peer knowledge sharing and hands-on sessions.

Every project starts with understanding what the user actually needs. I ask questions, gather requirements, and define the problem before writing a single line of code.
I map out the architecture, design the database schema, create wireframes, and plan the project timeline. This ensures clarity before development begins.
Writing clean, maintainable code using Django, Python, and JavaScript. I focus on building systems that are functional, secure, and scalable.
Testing functionality, fixing bugs, and deploying to production. I ensure the system works reliably before users start depending on it.
Software is never truly finished. I continuously improve, fix issues, and add features based on user feedback and changing needs.

Steve reminds me a lot of my younger self. He is highly focused, goal-oriented, and has a strong sense of purpose in the things he pursues. What stands out most is his willingness to keep learning and developing new skills. He does not limit himself to what he already knows; instead, he is always curious, open to new challenges, and willing to step outside his comfort zone to grow.
